Anjana Om Kashyap is one of the few women among the highest-paid news anchors in Indian journalism. She works as the executive editor of the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak. Anjana is also a newer journalist than the others we've discussed so far. In 2003, she began her career as a journalist. Her journalism career, on the other hand, began after a few more years. She began her career at Daewoo Motors as a counselor. But that didn't seem to fit her personality or qualities. As a result, she quit her job at Daewoo Motors and went to work for an NGO as a slum dweller counselor.
In the early 2000s, she began her career as a journalist. She enrolled in Jamia Millia Islamia College to pursue a journalism diploma. She obtained a position with Doordarshan as a news anchor for the show Aankhon Dekhi after completing her course. She joined Zee News after working for a year at Doordarshan. However, despite her lack of speaking proficiency, they hired her for the project. She did, however, pass the tryouts for a news anchor later on. And she went on to headline Zee News' special features.
